Kiandra Jones

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Child Development and Family Studies from North Carolina A&T State University and have over four years of experience working with children in educational and childcare settings. My experience includes preschool education, Montessori learning environments, elementary school instruction, and supporting students across a range of ages and learning needs.

Throughout my experience, I have supported children's academic, social, emotional, and developmental growth through structured lessons, individualized instruction, hands-on activities, and positive behavior support. I have also worked one-on-one with a young child with additional developmental support needs, helping build communication, daily living skills, and independence.

In addition to my degree and classroom experience, I hold a 168-hour TEFL certification, which has strengthened my understanding of English language instruction. I enjoy creating supportive learning experiences that help children build strong foundations, develop confidence, and become active participants in their own learning.

My teaching style is nurturing, engaging, and child-centered. I believe children learn best when they feel supported, encouraged, and actively involved in the learning process. I incorporate play-based learning, hands-on activities, repetition, and practical examples to make new concepts easier for children to understand and remember.

I adapt my approach to each child's developmental stage, individual learning needs, and interests. I focus on building foundational skills such as early literacy, phonics, communication, problem-solving, and confidence while also encouraging curiosity and independence.

I aim to create a positive learning environment where children feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, exploring new ideas, and developing a genuine enjoyment of learning.
